SPEAKER  Ann Bracken M. ED., CPT  (certified in poetry therapy)

TITLE  Write for Your Life© Journaling Program

DESCRIPTION Ann Bracken, educator, writer, and poetry therapist will share with us ways to use the transformative power of the arts for successful change!  Learn fresh ways to use the power and magic that come from writing and apply them to your own life. Tap into the wisdom source you so readily offer to others and use it for yourself.  Her program Write for Your Life© offers a multi-faceted approach that combines tried-and true journaling activities with some improv and poetry to help you uncover and rewrite parts of your story that are recurring trouble-spots. As an expressive arts consultant and writer, Ann will guide us through several exercises using specific journaling tools.  Some of the benefits people experience from journaling include: breaking through recurring blocks, accessing deeper layers of meaning, analyzing troubling situation from multiple perspectives, and achieving goals more quickly and effortlessly.  Ann  owns The Possibility Project, an expressive arts consulting practice that uses the arts (journaling, poetry, visual art, and improv) for helping people move from ideas to action and achieve positive results.  For more information visit her website at www.possibilityproject.com.  She invites any email inquiries in advance of her presentation at  anniebluepoet@comcast.net  or call her at 888-266-3875.

SPEAKERS  Alice Yeager,  MFA and Faith Hagerty, MPT, cert. MDT, CSCS

TOPIC The Body as Communicator

DESCRIPTION: AHAA Founder and President along with physical therapist Faith Hagerty discuss the extraordinary work they have been doing together over the past two years working with a new paradigm for healing that sees the body solely and soulfully as a means of higher Self communication. This communication can be expressed metaphorically as an indication of health that is experienced as total well-being or unhealthiness as pain and suffering. The body as a means of communication can convey the underlying cause of a physical issue, "dis-ease", sickness, accidents, rapid aging or other unhealthy ie. unwhole conditions.  Come join us for and overview of this revolutionary individual and group work and its use as a personal as well as global model for healing. See further details below under MEMBER NEWS about their upcoming full workshop offered through Anne Arundel Community College on Saturday, October 25, 2008, 9:30am- 1:15pm.

SPEAKER  Yarrow

TITLE  You Are the "IS Fac^tor"

DESCRIPTION  Are you visioning your practice or business venture expanding or starting?  As a healing arts entrepreneur or interested public with an idea you would like to develop you are the captain of your own destiny and the success of your venture depends upon your purpose, passion and productivity.  This is not new news of course; what is radical thinking, however, is that YOU are the element that creates success within the business culture that you have at the moment.  To move beyond this status quo and achieve your vision, your willingness is required to create a new plan, action steps and timeline that will end in the profits you are seeking. Accountability is a large piece of achieving each benchmark within your self-imposed timeframe to achieve your dream. In "You Are the IS Fac^tor © ," Yarrow provides strategies and techniques to implement and propel you closer to your dream. Our time together is based on Yarrow's chapter in the anthology, Conscious  Entrepreneurs - A Radical New Approach to Purpose, Passion & Profit © 2008.  Annapolis resident Yarrow is an Inspirational Speaker, Personal Energy Coach, Workshop Facilitator & Author helping people re-invent themselves and businesses re-engineer their workplace!  Autographed copies of her latest book will be available at this speaking event or in advance along with free downloads at www.ConsciousToolbox.com

THE BODY AS COMMUNICATOR - Introductory Workshop

INSTRUCTORS  Alice Yeager,  MFA and Faith Hagerty, MPT, cert. MDT, CSCS

DATE/TIME  Saturday, October 25, 2008,  9:30am- 1:15pm

LOCATION  Anne Arundel Community College,  Arnold Campus

COST  $49     REGISTRATION  Call (410) 777-2325

DESCRIPTION: In this workshop the body is seen as a means of communication that can express health as well-being or unhealthiness as suffering.  As a means of communication, the body can convey the underlying cause of a physical issue as "dis-ease" or other unhealthy conditions.  The topics covered include physically based anatomical maps as well as subtle energy maps in relationship to our five senses as communication channels.  When there is interference to this communication it can lead to unhealthy conditions as emotional and physical pain, sickness, accidents, and an increased rate in the aging process. When these communication channels are restored to full functioning we experience greater wellness as physical health and emotional well-being both individually and collectively.
